We are so pleased to let you know that Apple has decided Affinity Photo is the best Mac App of 2015! It's so humbling to receive an award like this, especially up against 1,000s of other brilliant apps—and we don't have the words to explain how delighted we are

SERIF RELEASES MAJOR UPDATES FOR AFFINITY PHOTO AND AFFINITY DESIGNER

I'd like to share that Serif has just released a pair of mega updates, one each for Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer. The updates are available now, free of charge to existing customers via the Mac App Store, and take both apps up to v1.4—which will be the first major update for Affinity Photo and the third for Affinity Designer. We're celebrating with a one-week 20% discount on both apps for new customers, starting today, December 9th, and ending on December 15th.

Both apps have earned a formidable reputation, sharing high-end tools, professional accuracy, incredible speed and rock solid stability. And as promised we're delivering some great updates here and will keep going for at least a couple of years after each app's launch. Here are just some of the headliners arriving in both app updates: 

• Full support for DCI-P3 extended gamut iMac displays
• Pro printing including PDF/X and Pantone support
